Petaling jaya: Scientex Bhd, a packaging manufacturer and real estate developer, has invested $25 (RM107mil)
A new stretch film facility has been established in Arizona, USA.

Scientex Phoenix LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary, will undertake Scientex\'s first stretch film plant overseas and supplement its existing facilities in Pulau Indah.
Managing director Lin pengjin said the investment would come from internally generated funds and bank borrowings for the construction of facilities and the purchase of machines.
The plant, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2017, will have two stretch film production lines with an annual output of 30,000 tons.
Scientex is the largest stretch filmmaker in the Asia Pacific region and a leading supplier of stretch films in Japan.
