Question 1

How can I start a bulk order with Top-In?

Accepted Answer

Starting a bulk order is straightforward. First send us a detailed RFQ: film type, application, printing technology, thickness, width, roll length, core size, quantity and destination port. We then recommend the right film and provide samples for you to test on your actual line.

Once the sample is approved, we confirm specifications, quotation, MOQ, payment terms, production lead time, packaging and shipping terms, and you sign the purchase order. A standard flow calls for a 30% deposit, with the remaining 70% due against the B/L copy, and production starts about 18 to 25 working days after confirmation. The staged process of specification, sampling, approval, and ordering prevents you from buying film that behaves differently from your real production needs.

Question 2

Does Top-In provide a warranty or compensation for quality problems?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Selected Top-In products carry a six-month warranty, and we provide equivalent compensation for qualifying quality problems, so your purchase is protected beyond the point of delivery. Before you buy for commercial orders, we recommend documenting the warranty scope, quality acceptance criteria, claim procedure, and compensation mechanism.

The contract should clearly state how defective rolls are identified and what evidence, including photos, test reports, and retained samples, supports a claim. Combine this with the approved-sample specification so "quality problem" is judged against the standard you agreed on, not open to interpretation. Our after-sales team responds to inquiries within about six hours and works with you to resolve issues quickly, because our tenet is excellent quality backed by experienced after-sales service. Clear terms up front turn a potential dispute into a straightforward, fair process.

Question 3

How is lamination film packed for export?

Accepted Answer

Top-In uses standard export packaging built to survive long ocean freight: cartons, edge protectors (bells), pallets and stretch film, with rolls palletized for safe handling and container loading. Loading guidance is about 10–12 pallets per 20-foot container and 20–22 pallets per 40-foot container for the relevant product ranges, though the exact count depends on roll dimensions, packaging configuration and product weight.

We also adjust packing to suit each market: sturdy carton-and-bell doubles for demanding routes, and packs safe for domestic distribution for local distributors. Before you book freight, request a packing list with estimated gross weight and pallet count so your forwarder can plan accurately. If you need special marking, pallet height limits or mixed-width assortment in one container, tell us at order confirmation and we will configure the load to maximize protection and container utilization.

Question 4

How long does Top-In need to produce a container order?

Accepted Answer

Lead time depends on product type, order quantity, specifications and current production scheduling, so we quote it per order rather than applying one fixed number. As a guide, product listings indicate roughly 18–25 working days after confirmation and deposit for many films, and around 20 working days for a 40-foot container of selected products. Specialty constructions, custom widths or peak-season volumes may run longer, while stock-standard films can often ship sooner.

Because our nine lines and fifteen slitters let us balance load across plants, we can usually absorb urgent orders with adjusted scheduling. The reliable step is to request a product-specific production schedule when you inquire, including your target ship date, so we can confirm realistic timing and reserve capacity. Planning lead time together upfront prevents the costly surprises of a container that misses your selling window.

Question 5

What are Top-In's payment terms for lamination film orders?

Accepted Answer

Top-In generally trades on T/T (telegraphic transfer), with terms shaped by product type, order volume, our relationship and the commercial agreement. A common structure is a 30% deposit to secure production, with the remaining 70% balance paid against the Bill of Lading copy. So you release the balance only once the goods are shipped and documented. For established partners or larger programs we can discuss adjusted structures.

To avoid any misunderstanding, we need you to confirm all payment details directly in the formal quotation or sales contract before any transfer. These details include the deposit percentage, balance timing, banking information, and the applicable Incoterm. Our beneficiary is Foshan Xinyi Import & Export Co., Ltd., and full bank details are provided on the proforma invoice. Clarity up front keeps both sides protected and lets production start without delay.

Question 6

How should buyers evaluate a Chinese lamination film manufacturer?

Accepted Answer

Evaluate a Chinese film supplier across five practical areas: manufacturing capability, product quality, certifications, export experience and commercial reliability. Verify factory ownership or real production capability, inspect the equipment, and test samples on your own line rather than trusting photos. Review certificates and confirm they cover the exact product and scope you buy, and check export track record across markets similar to yours.

Top-In, for instance, has shipped to over 53 countries for two decades. For recurring orders, put written quality standards, acceptable tolerances, packaging rules and a clear defective-product procedure into the contract. Delivery performance and after-sales responsiveness matter as much as price, so assess how quickly the supplier answers and resolves issues. This structured approach protects you far better than choosing on the lowest quotation alone, and it sets a measurable basis for a stable, long-term supply relationship.

Question 7

What causes wrinkles or curling in thermal lamination film?

Accepted Answer

Wrinkles and curling are usually machine-side or condition issues rather than a defect in the film itself. Common causes include excessive roller pressure, damaged or worn rollers, uneven pressure between the heating and rubber rollers, inconsistent film tension, and operating temperatures or speeds that do not suit the material. Top-In's guidance specifically points to roller pressure, roller-surface damage and tension imbalance as frequent culprits, so troubleshooting should examine both the laminator and the film together.

Begin by checking roller condition and pressure balance, then confirm tension settings and that the film thickness and adhesive match your machine's parameters. Keeping the laminator calibrated and using the correct film for your substrate typically resolves most cases. If problems persist after adjusting the machine, send us your setup details and a sample of the affected roll and we will help identify whether the film structure or the process needs to change.

Question 8

What should I check during a lamination film factory audit?

Accepted Answer

A thorough factory audit should confirm that the supplier actually makes what it sells. Start with company registration and ownership, then inspect production lines, coating equipment, slitting machines, raw-material storage and the adhesive materials used—at Top-In, for example, EVA glue is sourced from Japan and South Korea. Review the laboratory, QC procedures, warehouse management, stated capacity and export records, and verify that the plant shown is the one producing your product.

For long-term agreements, also examine traceability, complaint handling, production scheduling and backup capacity so a single breakdown cannot stall your supply. Ask to see test reports and certificate scope, and watch a real production run if possible. At Top-In we welcome audits and sample requests precisely so buyers can validate our capability before signing. A well-run audit turns marketing claims into verified facts you can build a partnership on.

Question 9

How can I verify lamination film quality before bulk purchasing?

Accepted Answer

The most reliable way to qualify a film is a structured sample test before you commit to volume. Run the sample on your real production line and check adhesion, transparency, gloss or matte appearance, curling, wrinkling, cutting performance, heat resistance and compatibility with your laminator.

For digital printing, test with actual printed sheets, because toner and silicone oil strongly influence bonding and a generic sample can mislead. Record the approved specification, covering thickness, finish, adhesive type, and acceptance limits, and treat it as the quality reference for all future shipments so that incoming film is evaluated against your own standard rather than ours.Pair this with a factory audit to see our lines, coating and QC in person. This disciplined approach turns "it looks fine" into measurable, repeatable criteria and protects you from surprises once a container is on the water.

Question 10

Does Top-In hold SGS certification?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Top-In states that its products are SGS certified and are manufactured under statistical process control to keep quality consistent, and individual product listings also reference ISO9001 and CE where applicable. Our films are formulated to meet international environmental and safety standards, which is why they are trusted in export markets across more than 53 countries. That said, certification is one part of supplier due diligence rather than the whole picture.

We encourage buyers to request the latest certificate copies and confirm that the document covers the specific product, factory and production scope they are purchasing. During a factory audit you can also review our QC procedures, raw-material controls and test records firsthand. Treating certification as a verified baseline and pairing it with sample testing and an on-site check gives you the strongest assurance of safe, reliable film for your market.

Question 11

Can Top-In provide different film widths and roll lengths for bulk buyers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Top-In supplies films in a wide range of widths and roll lengths to match different laminators and production needs. For BOPP thermal film, for instance, widths run from roughly 200 mm up to 1,920 mm and roll lengths from 200 m to 12,000 m, with jumbo rolls available for high-volume users. Core sizes are offered in several dimensions to fit your unwind shaft, and we can adjust winding direction and packaging to your line. Because width, length and core directly affect production planning, packaging and container loading, please confirm these specifications before ordering.

Tell us your laminator model and typical job sizes and we will recommend the roll format that minimizes waste and changeover time. For distributors we can also pre-cut multiple widths per container so you receive a ready-to-sell assortment rather than a single size.

Question 12

Can Top-In supply lamination film for wholesale and distribution?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Top-In's manufacturing scale and two decades of export experience make us well suited to industrial buyers, distributors and importers. We export to more than 53 countries and regions, with annual capacity around 26,500 tons backed by nine production lines and fifteen slitting machines. Our range spans standard BOPP and PET thermal film through specialty soft-touch, anti-scratch, metallized, holographic and digital films, so a distributor can build a broad portfolio from one accountable supplier instead of sourcing each category separately.

We support recurring supply with consistent batch quality, container-load packaging and reliable lead times, and our sales team responds to inquiries within about six hours. If you are planning a distribution program, share your target markets and product mix and we will propose a stocking plan, pricing tiers and MOQ structure that help you serve your own customers efficiently.

Question 13

Can I get free samples before placing a bulk order?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Top-In provides free samples so you can verify performance before committing to a bulk order, typically supplied as rolls of around 300 mm × 30 m. Sample freight is generally paid by the receiver, and under our standard terms that freight can be deducted from your subsequent order, so testing costs you nothing in the end.

We strongly recommend sampling because lamination results depend on your actual ink, paper, machine and operating conditions. What works in a lab may behave differently on your line. Test the film for adhesion, clarity, gloss or matte appearance, curling and compatibility with your laminator, and for digital work use real printed sheets since toner and silicone oil affect bonding. Once you approve the sample we treat its specification as the reference for future shipments, which keeps your quality consistent order after order. Just tell us the film and finish you want to trial.

Question 14

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for Top-In lamination film?

Accepted Answer

MOQ varies by product, dimensions, production requirements and whether the item is standard or customized, so there is no single number that fits every film. For example, one of our digital lamination films carries a 3,000 kg minimum, while other ranges are quoted against different supply capabilities. Rather than assume one rule, we evaluate each order on film type, width, thickness, roll length and your annual purchasing volume.

For distributors and large printers this flexibility is useful: standard BOPP and PET films often start lower, while specialty or tailor-made constructions are planned around your forecast. If you are building a distribution program, talk to us about expected monthly volume and we will structure MOQ and pricing to support steady replenishment. The best step is to send your specs and target quantity, we will confirm the applicable minimum and lead time for your exact product.

Question 15

What specifications should I provide when requesting a quote?

Accepted Answer

A clear RFQ helps us price and produce accurately, so please include the essentials: film type (BOPP, PET, soft-touch, metallized, holographic, etc.), finish (glossy or matte), thickness in microns, width, roll length, core size, total quantity, application, printing technology and destination port. If technical compatibility matters, also tell us your laminating machine type and substrate. Top-In films are available across a broad range of thicknesses, widths, lengths and paper-core dimensions, so the more precisely you specify, the tighter our quote and the smoother your production plan.

For container shipments, sharing the port and Incoterm lets us estimate freight and loading. Providing complete specifications up front lets us calculate pricing, production requirements and shipping in one step, and avoids the back-and-forth that delays both quotation and delivery.

Question 16

How do I choose the correct lamination film for my printing machine?

Accepted Answer

The correct film is matched to your whole production setup, not just the printer brand. Start with your press output, such as offset, UV, screen or digital. And then factor in substrate, laminator model, film thickness, adhesive system and operating temperature. Conventional offset work is usually fine with standard BOPP thermal film, but digital printing needs a super-bonding or super-sticky adhesive because toner and silicone oil reduce grip.

Width, core size and roll length must also suit your laminator and unwind shaft. When you request a technical recommendation from us, please share your printer model, paper type, desired thickness, laminator model and any current lamination problems such as wrinkles or poor adhesion. With those details we can specify the exact film structure and EVA formulation that runs cleanly on your machine, saving you from the trial-and-error and wasted rolls that come from guessing.

Question 17

What lamination film is suitable for cosmetic packaging?

Accepted Answer

Cosmetic packaging demands a combination of attractive appearance, smooth touch, reliable adhesion and resistance to frequent handling, and Top-In has dedicated soft-touch film applications built for exactly this sector. A soft-touch or black soft-touch film delivers the velvety, premium tactile effect that high-end beauty brands love, while glossy or PET metallized film in silver and gold adds eye-catching shine and shelf presence.

For decorative cartons we also offer holographic film with EVA glue to create iridescent, brand-distinctive finishes. Because cosmetics are often foil-stamped and digitally printed, our films are engineered to take hot-stamping and perform on digital lines without delaminating. The final selection should reflect your substrate, printing method, carton structure and required surface performance. Share your packaging artwork and material with us and we will recommend a film or a combination that protects the product and elevates the unboxing experience.

Question 18

Which lamination film should I use for book covers?

Accepted Answer

For book covers, matte or glossy BOPP thermal film is the standard choice, and the decision usually comes down to appearance, scratch resistance, bonding and your printing method. Matte film gives a refined, low-glare finish that feels premium in the hand, while glossy film boosts color brightness and is easy to keep clean. If your covers are digitally printed, a digital thermal film with stronger adhesive is the safer bet, since heavy toner or silicone oil on digital sheets can weaken ordinary bonding.

Our anti-scratch film is also worth considering for titles that will be handled heavily on shelves. We recommend testing your selected film on your actual paper stock and printing process before bulk ordering, because paper weight and ink load change how the film performs. Tell us your press type and we will point you to the exact thickness and finish that protects the cover and looks right.

Question 19

What is the difference between glossy and matte BOPP thermal lamination film?

Accepted Answer

Glossy and matte BOPP thermal films share the same durable BOPP-and-EVA construction but deliver very different looks and feels. Glossy film offers high transparency and a reflective, vibrant surface that makes printed colors pop—ideal for magazines, posters, brochures and any job where visual impact matters. Matte film cuts reflection for a softer, more premium appearance and, because its surface takes spot UV and hot-stamping well, it is a favorite for high-end book covers, luxury packaging and cosmetic cartons.

The right choice depends on your brand positioning, lighting environment and the tactile effect you want. Top-In supplies both finishes in multiple thicknesses and roll dimensions, all SGS certified and produced under statistical process control. If you are unsure which suits your product, share your substrate and application with us and we will help you decide or send both for side-by-side testing before you commit.

Question 20

Which lamination film is best for digital printing?

Accepted Answer

For digital printing we recommend a digital thermal lamination film with enhanced adhesive rather than a standard BOPP film chosen only on price. Digital prints carry thicker toner layers and often residual silicone oil, both of which weaken bonding and cause delamination; our digital films use a modified EVA adhesive engineered for exactly these difficult surfaces. They are developed for outputs from leading digital presses such as HP Indigo, Xerox and Canon, and we offer super-bonding and super-sticky variants for the most demanding jobs.

Before you buy in bulk, we strongly suggest testing the film on your actual printer, ink, substrate and laminator, because performance is tied to your real production conditions. Tell us your equipment and the problem you are seeing, such as poor adhesion, bubbling or edge lift. And Top-In will propose the specific digital film, thickness and finish that gives you a clean, durable result.

Question 21

Can Top-In provide technical support for lamination film selection?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we treat film selection as a solution rather than a simple sale. The right film depends on far more than thickness: your printing technology, ink type, substrate, laminating machine, operating temperature, film width, core size and desired surface finish all play a role. Our team provides product specifications and troubleshooting guidance covering common issues such as wrinkles, curling and coating defects, and we help match the correct film structure and adhesive formulation to your actual production.

To give you the best recommendation, we ask that you share your printing substrate, machine model and end application when you inquire. Whether you run offset, UV, screen or digital presses, We can guide you to the film that runs reliably on your line, like glossy, matte, soft-touch, anti-scratch, metallized, or holographic. This consultative approach helps you avoid costly trial-and-error and keeps your finishing line running smoothly.

Question 22

Why should buyers choose Top-In instead of a lamination film trading company?

Accepted Answer

As a source manufacturer with our own BOPP extrusion and coating lines, we control film formulation, coating, slitting, inspection and production scheduling end to end—something a trading company that merely resells cannot guarantee. That control translates into stricter quality consistency, faster lead times and direct technical communication when you need to solve a lamination problem.

We also use premium EVA adhesive sourced from Japan and South Korea, giving our films higher transparency and stronger bonding than many commodity alternatives. For buyers with recurring or high-volume needs, buying factory-direct not only improves batch-to-batch stability but also removes the markup and delays of an intermediary. Our tenet is simple: excellent quality, efficient delivery and experienced after-sales service. We invite you to request samples, book a factory audit, or start with a small trial order so you can verify our capability and build confidence before committing to a long-term partnership.

Question 23

How much lamination film can Top-In produce?

Accepted Answer

Top-In's production capacity reaches roughly 26,500 tons per year, or about 2,200 tons each month, supported by nine production and coating lines and fifteen slitting machines spread across our three Sichuan plants. This scale makes us the largest BOPP thermal film manufacturer in China and allows us to absorb recurring distributor orders, seasonal packaging peaks and large printing projects without sacrificing lead time.

We supply our films in a wide range of thicknesses, widths, roll lengths and core sizes, including jumbo rolls. So volume buyers can standardize their inventory on a single supplier. For planning purposes, a typical 40-foot container of selected products is produced in around 20 working days. Buyers evaluating a long-term supplier should look beyond a single number, though: consistent batch quality, on-time delivery and responsive technical support matter just as much as headline tonnage. We are happy to share a product-specific production schedule and container-loading plan during quotation.

Question 24

What lamination films does Top-In manufacture?

Accepted Answer

Top-In offers a complete and integrated product matrix that supports true one-stop sourcing for distributors, printers and packaging houses. Our core ranges cover the full spectrum of finishing films: thermal lamination film (BOPP and PET, in both glossy and matte finishes), digital laminating film with enhanced adhesive for toner-heavy digital prints, soft touch film and its black soft-touch variant for a premium velvety feel, and metallized film in silver and gold for eye-catching shelf presence. Beyond these, we also produce 30-micron anti-scratch film, holographic film with EVA glue, heat-transfer toner foil in multiple colors, PVC binding covers and PET reflective film for solar panels.

To round out the lineup, we supply laminating equipment such as semi-automatic, manual double-side and fully automatic laminators plus automatic hot-stamping machines. Every film is SGS certified and made under statistical process control, and all perform consistently across offset, UV, screen, hot-stamping and digital printing. Because the entire matrix comes from a single, accountable manufacturer, buyers can consolidate what used to be many separate specialty suppliers into one partnership, simplifying purchasing, shortening lead times and keeping quality uniform across every product they sell.

Question 25

Is Top-In a manufacturer or trading company of lamination film?

Accepted Answer

Top-In is a genuine manufacturing company, not a trading intermediary. Founded in 2001, China Top-In Film Manufacture Co., Ltd. is one of the pioneer and the largest BOPP thermal lamination film manufacturers in China. We run three production plants in Sichuan Province and operate two branch offices in Foshan and Chongqing, which gives us direct control over every stage from BOPP extrusion and EVA coating to slitting and quality inspection.

With nine production and coating lines plus fifteen slitting machines, our monthly capacity reaches 2,200 tons and our annual output around 26,500 tons. Because we make the film ourselves, we keep tighter quality control, deliver more consistent batches, and answer technical questions far faster than a trader who simply re-sells someone else's goods. We welcome factory audits and sample requests at any time, so buyers can verify our manufacturing capability before committing to bulk orders.
